Senior Consultant – Industrial Division
Birmingham | £32,000 + DOE
About the role
In this varied and rewarding position, you’ll work with a broad portfolio of industrial and engineering clients, taking responsibility for both servicing and developing accounts while delivering exceptional customer service to clients and workers alike.
What you’ll be doing
- Building strong relationships with decision‑makers at all levels
- Selling service solutions and championing the Pertemps brand
- Handling inbound enquiries from prospective and existing workers
- Carrying out business‑to‑business sales, including telesales and onsite activity
- Interviewing and selecting industrial candidates
- Managing key accounts, including a rotational on‑call requirement
What we’re looking for
- Previous experience in sales and recruitment sales
- Confidence speaking with new people and building rapport quickly
- A proactive, tenacious approach to winning new business
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- The ability to learn new systems and recruitment compliance processes
- Experience of working in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment
- The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality of service
- Confidence meeting clients face‑to‑face and developing new accounts
- Basic IT skills across Excel, Word and Outlook, with further training provided
