Job Overview

Springwood Primary School, part of The LINK Education Trust, is a large primary age Special School with five sites, catering for pupils with moderate, severe and complex needs. We are seeking to appoint Level 1 Teaching Assistants to join our ever‑expanding team on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities

• Are you interested in supporting primary age children with complex needs to achieve their potential?
• Will you ensure that all our pupils are included and supported to develop whatever their special educational needs or behaviour challenges?
• Can you work as part of a team to provide an appropriate learning environment for our pupils?
• Do you want to learn new skills and participate in your own professional development?
• Shortlisted candidates will be invited to school to undertake a class‑based task, an ICT task and a panel interview.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of working with young people of school age who may present with challenging behaviour and complex needs, preferably within an educational setting.
