Overview

Job Title: Engineering Manager

Location: Walsingham, Norfolk, UK

Contract & Hours: Permanent, Full Time, 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday

Package: Starting salary from £60,000, a performance-related bonus scheme, a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your wellbeing and reward your impact, and a matched pension contribution of up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the site engineering team, staying visible and hands-on
• Drive a shift to preventative maintenance and improve equipment reliability
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards and statutory requirements
• Build maintenance plans and support capital investment priorities
• Work closely with operations to improve overall site performance

What We’re Looking For

• Engineering leadership experience in manufacturing or a similar site environment
• A hands-on, practical leadership style with strong team engagement
• Experience improving maintenance and moving from reactive to planned approaches
• Good understanding of compliance, safety, and engineering standards
• Strong problem-solving and the ability to prioritise effectively

Nice to have

• Experience in feed, food, agriculture, or process industries
• BOAS or BOAS-M (desirable, not essential)
