What We Are Looking For
We’re looking for a Senior Associate, Fund Analyst to join our London‑based Real Estate Investment team—a role offering exceptional exposure across the full investment lifecycle! This is an opportunity to work on acquisitions, asset management, structured finance, fund strategy, and investor reporting across pan‑European equity and debt investments. Beyond core analytical work, you’ll also contribute to Wealth Solutions initiatives, supporting bespoke deal structuring and new product development for private wealth clients.
You’ll be responsible for
As a key member of the investment team, you’ll deliver high‑quality analysis, build advanced financial models, and help drive decisions that influence the direction of our European real estate strategies.
Investment Analysis & Underwriting
- Build and maintain sophisticated Excel‑based models for acquisitions, dispositions, and portfolio forecasting.
- Underwrite new equity and debt investment opportunities and validate external models.
- Prepare investment memoranda, transaction analyses, and fund strategy papers for internal and external stakeholders.
Portfolio & Asset Management
- Monitor and forecast performance of existing investments, including IRR updates and variance analysis.
- Work with asset managers and JV partners on annual business plans and hold/sell recommendations.
- Support fund strategy through ongoing portfolio‑level analysis.
Market Research & Due Diligence
- Conduct market research and compile qualitative and quantitative insights.
- Analyze macro trends, sector dynamics, and competitive positioning across European markets.
Business Development & Wealth Solutions
- Support bespoke deal structuring for private wealth clients.
- Assist in developing innovative product concepts for multi‑investor platforms.
- Prepare tailored materials and presentations for wealth management partners.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Partner with structured finance, tax, and fund accounting teams to ensure financial models reflect capital structures and tax considerations.
- Build strong working relationships with internal teams, transaction partners, and JV stakeholders.
You’ll need to have
- Solid experience in real estate private equity, investment banking, or advisory. Exposure to pan‑European real estate markets is a plus.
- Strong Excel financial modeling skills and the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast‑paced environment.
- Sharp analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial and operational data.
- Strong understanding of real estate fundamentals, valuation, and key performance drivers.
- Degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field. CFA, RICS, or a relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- Clear, concise communicator who can simplify complex ideas.
- Collaborative team player comfortable working across international offices.
- Able to translate data into actionable insights and informed recommendations.
- Brings sound judgment, context, and perspective beyond the numbers.
