Principal Systems Architect

Our client, a leader in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking a Principal Systems Architect on a contract basis within BAE Systems – Submarine Solutions, located in Filton. This role is essential in designing and implementing integrated systems for advanced submarine solutions, contributing to state-of-the-art defence capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining system architecture for complex defence systems
• Collaborating with engineering teams to integrate system components
• Providing technical leadership in system design and development
• Ensuring compliance with defence standards and protocols
• Conducting system analysis and optimization to enhance performance and reliability
• Creating detailed documentation and technical reports
• Leading system reviews and contributing to project planning

Job Requirements:

• Extensive experience as a BAE Systems Engineer or similar role
