Emmanuel CE Middle School is looking for a Pastoral Support Officer to join our fantastic team.
Actual Salary £12,363 – £12,965 per annum (Grade 6)
This job is Part Time – Term Time Only for 21 hours per week and 38 weeks per year working over 3 days per week which must include a Monday and Friday due to current working patterns of the team.
It is offered on a Permanent basis.
Approximate start date 01-Sep-2026.
As part of this role we are looking for someone who has experience of Pastoral Support/ELSA/Draw & Talk/Play therapy or other specific interventions, who could work with pupils either on a 1 to 1 basis or within a group.

Keeping Children Safe in Education: The school will conduct online searches of shortlisted candidates. This check will be part of a safeguarding check, and the search will purely be based on whether an individual is suitable to work with children. All aspects of social media and internet searches will be conducted. As care must be taken to avoid unconscious bias and any risk of discrimination, a person who will not on the appointment panel will conduct the searches and will only share information if and when findings are relevant and of concern.
