Self-Employed Delivery Driver

Yodel is part of the InPost family, driving millions of parcels across the UK. As a core delivery driver you will help deliver parcels to customers and parcel lockers every Monday to Saturday, with some Sundays during peak periods.
Competitive Rates
- Earn up to £18 per hour, paid per parcel (competitive parcel rates).
- Rates are enhanced to reflect business mileage and operational costs.
Daily & Weekly Payment Options
Flexible payment options are available: access earnings from the next day via an app or join the weekly payment cycle scheme after two weeks of completed delivery services.
Carrying and Delivering Parcels
Most parcels weigh up to 15 kg. In a typical workload you can deliver and collect between 16‑25 parcels an hour, depending on the area and your experience, for six days a week.
Work Flexibility and Route Planning
Plan your own route or use the award‑winning Yodel app for simple instructions, route optimisation and direct communication with customers.
Support and Backing
Self‑employed drivers receive independent operation with the backing of an experienced team and a dedicated Yodel representative to answer questions.
Life of a Delivery Driver
Each day is what you make it: plan your route, scan parcels with a mobile device, and ensure safe delivery. Daily collection times are arranged; rural parcels may be dropped off or collected at your convenience.

Requirements
- Access to a large insured vehicle, preferably a van up to 3.5 t
- Full UK or EC/EEA driving licence
- Proof of right to work in the UK
- iOS or Android smartphone
- Proof of own bank account
- A positive, proactive attitude
