Automotive Studio is the in-house creative solutions team within the Automotive Division at Haymarket Media Group. We work with a vast range of clients from the largest OEMs through to automotive aftermarket companies to deliver innovative and engaging campaigns that meet their commercial objectives. We work directly with clients and their media agencies to ensure high standards of client service and campaign delivery. Our services include digital advertising, video production, written content, social media, events, print, research and more, and are delivered through Haymarket’s automotive publications (What Car?, Autocar and Classic & Sports Car) or as standalone, white-label creative solutions.

As Project Manager within Automotive Studio, you will be the central point of contact for all stakeholders related to your projects. You will work closely with the commercial, ad operations and agency teams to ensure campaigns deliver as planned, and with the Studio creative team and our network of freelancers to ensure content is produced to the highest standards. As such, you will need to fulfil two sides to this job: overseeing the delivery of the campaigns to client and commercial expectations and managing video and photo shoots.

Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities

  • Oversee the delivery of multiple campaigns, ensuring KPIs and deadlines are met, and stakeholders are kept up to date with campaign performance and timelines.
  • Work in collaboration with our creative delivery team of copywriters, designers, social media managers to ensure content is created to brief, on time and within budget.
  • Utilise Google, Meta & YouTube analytics to oversee reporting, and post-campaign analysis of campaigns to ensure content is performing in line with KPIs, and escalating any issues to the Senior and Lead Project Managers.
  • Liaise with Haymarket’s Ad Operations team to create and supply display advertising creatives and associated tracking assets.
  • Oversee project budgets and forecasts, as well as ensuring suppliers are set-up, contracts and payment terms are agreed, and raise purchase orders.
  • Utilise Trello to keep the creative team on track for delivery; updating cards and prioritising delivery as required.
  • Work collaboratively with the commercial and creative teams to answer briefs and engage in new business pitches.
  • Oversee shoot production as and when required. This may involve managing talent, sourcing locations, acquiring props and being on location (in the UK, or in some cases, abroad) to support the production crew.

Skills / Experience / Knowledge / Minimum Criteria

What you will need:

  • 1+ years experience in creative/marketing project administration/management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to prioritise and manage conflicting deadlines.
  • Good interpersonal skills to be able to build relationships with Haymarket’s commercial, creative, editorial and ad operations teams.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks to ensure campaigns are delivered on budget and in-keeping with deadlines.
  • You must hold a valid full UK driving licence.
  • Interest/experience in the Automotive industry (not required, but helpful if you have it).

We are a Disability Confident employer and offer guaranteed interviews to all disabled applicants who meet the above minimum criteria.
