Role – Salesforce Marketing/Data Cloud Developer

Location – London, UK (You must hold active UK SC Clearance (or be able to transfer an active clearance)

About the role:

You’ll be a hands‑on SFMC practitioner designing and building personalised, multi‑channel marketing journeys at scale. You’ll work closely with stakeholders and delivery teams to turn requirements into robust Marketing Cloud solutions across email, journeys, automation and data— with a strong focus on quality, deliverability, compliance, and measurable performance.

What you’ll be doing

• Designing and deploying end‑to‑end customer journeys in Journey Builder (branching, re‑entry, multi‑step)
• Building and optimising email campaigns in Email Studio (including dynamic content/​personalisation)
• Creating Automation Studio automations (imports, triggered sends, scheduled processes, file transfers)
• Managing data structures in Contact Builder / Audience Builder (data extensions, segmentation, attribute groups)
• Developing and maintaining assets in Content Builder (emails, landing pages, content blocks)
• Supporting Marketing Cloud Connect and CRM data sync (data integrity + troubleshooting)
• Applying GDPR, consent and suppression best practices across all solutions
• Investigating issues (journey errors, data anomalies, campaign problems) and driving root‑cause fixes
• Contributing to technical documentation and supporting agile delivery (ceremonies, demos, sprint reviews)

What we’re looking for:

• Solid experience with Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, Content Builder
• AMPscript and/or SSJS for personalisation, conditional logic, data lookups
• Confidence working with segmentation and subscriber/data management
• Strong grasp of deliverability, compliance, GDPR/consent, and campaign reporting

Nice to have

• Marketing Cloud Personalization / Interaction Studio (or broader personalisation capability exposure)
• Marketing analytics / reporting tooling experience
• Exposure to Data Cloud for segmentation/activation use cases
