SQL Developer – Contract

A Lloyds insurer is seeking a skilled SQL Developer to join their growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, optimising, and maintaining SQL databases and data solutions that support business‑critical applications and reporting requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

• Lloyds insurance industry experience
• Proven experience as a SQL Developer, Database Developer, or similar role
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (2016 preferred)
• Expertise in T‑SQL, stored procedures, triggers, views, and query optimisation
• Knowledge of ETL processes and data integration techniques

Desirable Skills

• Experience with SSIS, SSRS, or Power BI
• Knowledge of Azure SQL Database or cloud‑based data platforms
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts

Rate: £550 – £600 P/D Outside IR35

Location: London EC3A/WFH – 2/3 days per week in the office

Contract Duration: 6 months

Start Date: ASAP
