Senior Network Engineer – WAN + Security + Automation : Trading Firm : CCIE

An elite global hedge fund are now seeking a Senior Network Engineer to work on its trading infrastructure. You will ideally be CCIE qualified with a strong background in low latency and multicast networks. Our client is a leading global market maker with an emphasis on technology to match. They seek an experienced profile who would look to build ultra-fast and reliable connectivity to proprietary trading technology, invariably around a bleeding edge Cisco environment.

What you’ll be doing:

• Design, deploy and troubleshoot global network infrastructure
• Design industry leading networks
• Implement optimisations to build low latency network
• Work on network redesign, expansion and upgrade
• Support trading teams in relation to high frequency
• Automation, capacity planning and connectivity advancement
• Manage network expansion, upgrades and support
• Provide expert support to high frequency trading teams

What exposure you’ll ideally have:

• Cisco, Juniper, Arista
• Security – Palo Alto & Fortinet
• Automation and Python scripting, Ansible, Terraform
• Cisco CCIE/CCDE qualified or equivalent experience in a trading environment
