Responsibilities

• Continuing management of patients and/or staff within the clinical setting, acting as chain of command in the absence of a team lead.
• Assessment of care needs, development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care and holistic care packages, setting and maintaining standards, and supervision and deployment of staff.
• Facilitation of educational programmes for basic, post‑basic and in‑service training in liaison with the Learning and Development Team.
• Work closely with the senior team member to facilitate patient‑focused, innovative research‑based practice aligned with Surrey Downs Health and Care objectives.
• Provide opportunities for training and professional development, including regular supervision and continuous professional development.
