Pastoral Intervention Leader (ReDirect) – The Wren School
Location: Reading
Hours: 37 hours per week (08:15am‑4:15pm), term‑time only, plus 5 Inset days. Permanent. Starting from September 2026.
Responsibilities
- Lead the dedicated responsive intervention space, the ‘ReDirect room’, supporting students experiencing disengagement in learning.
- Provide nurturing support and identify barriers to participation to help students return to lessons successfully.
- Plan, monitor and evaluate interventions to ensure effective outcomes while maintaining consistent communication across teams.
- Build strong, supportive relationships, model the school’s values, and contribute to a calm, inclusive, aspirational environment.
