Responsibilities
Our Junior Full Stack Engineers sit within Digital Excellence, part of the Business Technology practice in Capgemini Invent, where they build and maintain digital solutions that drive better business outcomes for clients. Responsibilities include:
- Develop clean, well‑structured, maintainable code using modern frameworks.
- Apply core programming concepts and object‑oriented principles to create scalable applications.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and debug system issues across the stack.
- Collaborate with cross‑disciplinary teams and clients to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Stay current with technology trends such as AI, data, cloud, automation and digital services.
Your Profile
Required
- Professional experience building Java applications.
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Desirable
- Experience with version control systems (Git, GitHub, etc.).
- Experience with frameworks such as Spring Boot.
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS or Azure).
- Familiarity with NoSQL or relational databases (e.g., MongoDB, MySQL).

Location
London, Manchester or Glasgow as the office base. Flexibility for assignment locations is required due to potential short‑notice travel.
