Job Description:

A fantastic new job opportunity for a committed Team Leader in a leading children’s care service based in Birmingham, West Midlands.

You must hold a minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support young people with their daily routines; getting them ready for school, prepping for meal times and planning activities.
  • Create a warm, homely environment by helping with light housekeeping.
  • Lead shift and deputise home manager.
  • Build strong, meaningful relationships and provide emotional support.
  • Plan and join fun activities like trips to the park, popcorn and movie nights or creative projects.
  • Keep essential records to ensure the best possible care.

  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to motivate and enthuse staff.
  • Team building skills.
  • Supervision skills.
  • Ability to manage teams effectively.
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • Driver with full UK driving licence.
