Trainee Electrical Design Engineer – Plymouth, Devon

Salary: £22‑26k to start (full training to be given).

Full Time Permanent.

The Role

Working alongside experienced engineers, you will:

• Assist with electrical building services design projects.
• Support the preparation of technical drawings, calculations, and documentation.
• Use digital design tools and software.
• Assist with site surveys and project research.
• Attend project meetings and support project delivery.
• Learn industry standards, regulations, and best practices.

About You

You will have:

• Either be graduated with an Electrical or Construction biased Degree or have onsite working experience in the electrical field looking to step into the office.
• A very keen interest in engineering and design.
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• A willingness to learn and develop professionally.
