General Retail Assistant, Klondyke Garden Centre

Overview

We are looking for a Part Time Permanent Retail Assistant to join the team in our Klondyke Garden Centre.

The hours for this position are 20 per week over 4 days including regular weekend shifts, so flexibility is a must. Our competitive rates of pay range is dependent on age.

Responsibilities

• Till operation and serving customers
• Stock replenishment and merchandising across all departments
• Creating and maintaining product displays
• Assisting customers across the Centre, taking every opportunity to WOW
• Carrying out cleaning and housekeeping tasks as needed
• Assisting customers with carrying purchases to their cars
• Collecting trolleys and shopping baskets

Requirements / Qualifications

• Friendly, with an engaging personality and a genuine love for customer service
• Knowledge of Garden Centre products preferred but not essential, as full training will be given
• Strong customer service skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Great teamwork
• Hardworking
• Shift flexibility including weekends
• The ability to work well and efficiently under pressure
