Salary: £13.45 per hour
Contract Type: Fixed Term, Full Time (3 Months)
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Lab Support Services Operative to join our team at Unilever R&D, Port Sunlight on a 3-month fixed-term contract.
This newly created role has been introduced to support an increase in laboratory activity and will play an important part in ensuring laboratory support services are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard. The successful candidate will provide essential operational support while maintaining excellent housekeeping and stock control standards.
What You’ll Do
- Support laboratory operations through effective service delivery
- Maintain stock levels and assist with stock management processes
- Follow established procedures and instructions accurately
- Ensure work areas are maintained to high housekeeping standards
- Support health and safety compliance across laboratory environments
- Complete routine operational tasks efficiently and accurately
- Assist with general laboratory support activities as required
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure service excellence
What We’re Looking For
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately
- Good understanding of health and safety practices
- Experience of stock management or inventory control is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with a methodical approach to work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and commitment to delivering high standards
