Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure IaC AKS SaaS)
Location: Reigate, UK (Hybrid model: 3 days a week work from home, Reigate office twice a week; within 1 hour commute required)
Salary: GBP 90,000 – GBP 100,000 per annum + bonus + benefits
About the role
Help shape and scale a modern Azure platform using Infrastructure as Code and automation‑first practices. Design and maintain reusable OpenTofu / Terraform modules, automate environment provisioning, and build secure, scalable cloud infrastructure across development and production environments. Debug tooling and infrastructure issues, address performance bottlenecks, and stay current with industry trends and emerging technology.
About you
- Experience as a DevOps Engineer in an Azure environment with strong knowledge of AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service)
- Good understanding of IaC principles and tools such as OpenTofu, Terraform, and Pulumi
- Experience building and improving CI/CD pipelines for product teams
- Experience with cloud observability: logging, tracing, metrics, monitoring, and alerting
- Experience with containerisation – Azure Container Apps preferred
- Strong scripting skills with PowerShell and / or C# .NET coding
- Collaborative problem‑solving mindset, delivering simple solutions to complex problems
- Comfortable mentoring in a senior role
