Physiotherapy Support Worker
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Band 3 Physiotherapy Support Worker to work in the Acute Stroke Physiotherapy service.
We are looking for a new team member with excellent communication and motivational skills to join our busy Stroke department.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly, reliable and hardworking individual who is passionate about patient care, who can work both independently and function well in a team.
Main duties of the job
In this ward based role you will primarily work under the indirect supervision of Physiotherapists; you must be able to work well both individually and as part of a team.

Welsh Skills Desirable
Welsh skills are desirable but not essential. Level 3 (CEFR B2) speaking and listening skills will be considered an advantage during short‑listing.

Person Specification
Knowledge
- Appreciation of the principles of physiotherapy practice and procedures
- Understanding of the principles of manual handling
- Welsh language speaking/listening skills at Level 3 or above
Experience
- Experience in working as part of a team, in a busy and varied workplace
- IT literate
Qualifications
- Good standard of education; NVQ level 3 or equivalent. GCSE Maths and English
