At 3 Dimensions School, we specialise in supporting students with a range of Special Educational Needs, including ASD, SEMH, ADHD and trauma‑related needs. We’re looking for a Maths Teacher who can bring learning to life, build trust, and help our learners achieve meaningful progress – academically, socially and emotionally.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver engaging, differentiated Maths lessons across KS3, KS4 and Post‑16.
- Teach a blend of functional maths, Entry Level, GCSE (where appropriate) and real‑life numeracy.
- Adapt teaching to meet EHCP outcomes and individual learning profiles.
- Use creative strategies such as visual scaffolding, chunking, practical resources and overlearning.
- Embed trauma‑informed, low‑arousal approaches to support regulation and engagement.
- Track progress, identify gaps and celebrate every success.
- Build strong, positive relationships that help students feel safe, confident and ready to learn.
- All applicants will be subject to social media checks and successful applicants will receive a fully enhanced DBS.
Qualifications
- Experience teaching or supporting Maths learning.
- Ability to differentiate for a wide range of needs.
- Strong relationship‑building and classroom management skills.
- A commitment to inclusive, child‑centred education.
- Driving licence required.
Desirable Qualifications
- QTS (or working towards it).
- Experience in SEN or alternative provision.
- Experience delivering Functional Skills, Entry Level or GCSE Maths.
- Understanding of EHCPs and preparation for adulthood.
