Maths Teacher

At 3 Dimensions School, we specialise in supporting students with a range of Special Educational Needs, including ASD, SEMH, ADHD and trauma‑related needs. We’re looking for a Maths Teacher who can bring learning to life, build trust, and help our learners achieve meaningful progress – academically, socially and emotionally.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver engaging, differentiated Maths lessons across KS3, KS4 and Post‑16.
• Teach a blend of functional maths, Entry Level, GCSE (where appropriate) and real‑life numeracy.
• Adapt teaching to meet EHCP outcomes and individual learning profiles.
• Use creative strategies such as visual scaffolding, chunking, practical resources and overlearning.
• Embed trauma‑informed, low‑arousal approaches to support regulation and engagement.
• Track progress, identify gaps and celebrate every success.
• Build strong, positive relationships that help students feel safe, confident and ready to learn.
• All applicants will be subject to social media checks and successful applicants will receive a fully enhanced DBS.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching or supporting Maths learning.
• Ability to differentiate for a wide range of needs.
• Strong relationship‑building and classroom management skills.
• A commitment to inclusive, child‑centred education.
• Driving licence required.

Desirable Qualifications

• QTS (or working towards it).
• Experience in SEN or alternative provision.
• Experience delivering Functional Skills, Entry Level or GCSE Maths.
• Understanding of EHCPs and preparation for adulthood.
