FM Conway is looking for a Traffic Management Operative to join our Traffic Management division based from our Sleaford depot.
Responsibilities
- Setting up temporary traffic lights as required and assisting with the diversion of traffic
- Maintaining and removing the traffic lights within the required time scale
- Managing the traffic flow at the temporary traffic lights, ensuring public are abiding by lights
- Working closely with management and crews, and taking instructions from the management team
- Ensuring that sites are safe and carrying out on‑site assessments
- Taking appropriate action in the event of an emergency, particularly ensuring the appropriate people are notified
- Being available on a rota basis for out‑of‑hours on‑call duty if needed
Qualifications and Experience
- Knowledge of traffic management operations, valid CSCS card, and traffic management Lantra tickets
- Ability to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings and comply with provided RAMS
