CER are currently working exclusively with Pope Francis Catholic Multi Academy Trust and St. Josephs Catholic Multi Academy trust working with schools within the Merseyside area. The schools within those trust require engaging Cover Supervisors for a roles starting asap and looking ahead to September. The role is to work within a school setting in which work will be provided and you will use it to deliver the lesson. The daily rate for this role is from £100 – £130 per day.

The ideal Cover Supervisor will have an outgoing personality and will maintain a high standard of classroom management, in order to keep students on task. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience working in a school environment.

Responsibilities of the Cover Supervisor

  • Deliver secondary subjects to ages 11-16;
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management and cover teaching using available resources within the classroom;
  • Promote and push the students to achieve the expectations set in the absence of the teacher.

Qualifications

  • Experience of group management of 11-18 year olds;
  • Excellent and proven behaviour management experience;
  • Shown commitment to learning and development of pupils;
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with staff and students.
