Hours: 9:30-4pm Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

Overview

We are currently seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to join our team as General Laborers / Hygiene Operatives in Rochdale.

This role is ideal for someone who is flexible, physically fit, and able to work on short notice with varying hours based on operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out general laboring duties including heavy lifting and manual handling
• Move, load, and organize stock efficiently and safely
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across work areas
• Assist with cleaning equipment, surfaces, and production areas
• Follow all health and safety guidelines at all times
• Support team members and supervisors with ad hoc tasks as required

Requirements

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting
• Good level of fitness and stamina
• Strong work ethic and reliabilityFlexibility to work ad hoc shifts, sometimes at short notice
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial but not essential
