Guest Experience & Operations Support Host
Location: The Cornish Seal Sanctuary, Gweek, Cornwall, TR12 6UG
Hours: 2 days per week – Thursday & Friday
Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract
This is a varied, hands-on role supporting our operations teams across the site. Responsibilities include welcoming and engaging with guests, assisting with parking and general enquiries, and helping to maintain high presentation standards alongside the housekeeping team. The role also involves driving an on-site vehicle to support guests, covering team breaks, and providing ad hoc support with cleaning or basic maintenance tasks as needed.
Must have Full UK driving licence.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently and warmly with a wide range of guests
- A proactive, flexible approach with a willingness to support across different departments and tasks
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to remain calm and organised during busy periods
- A team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to delivering excellent service standards
- Awareness of health & safety and cleanliness standards within a public-facing environment
- Full, clean driving licence
