Role

As a Nursery Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the Nursery team to create a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment where children can thrive through play, exploration, and discovery.

• Supporting children’s learning and development through play‑based activities
• Assisting with the planning and delivery of engaging learning experiences
• Promoting positive behaviour and social development
• Supporting children’s welfare, wellbeing, and personal care where required
• Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
• Helping to maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive learning environment
• Working collaboratively with teaching staff to ensure every child reaches their potential

What We’re Looking For

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
• Experience working within a Nursery, Early Years, or Primary School setting
• A caring, patient, and nurturing approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection
• The ability to engage and motivate young learners
• A positive and flexible attitude
