QA Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Assist in the developing, implementing and maintaining of quality control procedures and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and customer specifications
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of processes, materials, and finished products to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish quality objectives, performance metrics, and corrective/preventive actions
• Provide training and guidance to employees on quality processes, procedures, and best practices to foster a culture of quality excellence
• Participate in investigating customer complaints and non-conformance issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
• Identify and management and control of Inspection Test Plans (ITPs)
• Managing Emero data base for site QA deliverable documents
• Monitor and analyse quality data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and opportunities for process optimization
• Participate in quality improvement projects to enhance product/service quality, reduce costs, and increase efficiency
• Liaise with suppliers and vendors to ensure the quality of incoming materials and components meet our standards
• Prepare reports and documentation related to quality performance, compliance, and corrective actions for management review
• Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in quality management to continuously improve our quality systems

Qualifications

• Experience in quality control/assurance, preferably in transmission sector
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001, etc.) and regulatory requirements
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make sound decisions
• Internal Auditor certificate preferredEffective communication skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and precision
• Proficiency in MS Office and quality management software/tools
