Staff Nurse

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified nurse to join our critical care team. Are you looking for a new challenge and a chance for more education?

We are a busy 12‑beded Critical Care unit providing patient‑centred care at Level 2 and Level 3. Our environment is comfortable and supported by a modern Clinical Information System.

Responsibilities

The registered nurse will work within the critical care team to plan, monitor, and evaluate care for Level 2 and Level 3 patients and support their families. The role includes following a programme of competencies to gain knowledge and skills in critical care nursing and supporting student nurses who rotate into the unit.

Qualifications

• NMC registration required.
• Acute nursing experience in an NHS hospital ward is essential.
• Experience in a critical care setting is an advantage but not essential.
