Plater – Industrial New Build Project

Location: Hertfordshire

Duration: 6–9 month contract

Hours: 11 Day Fortnight | 10 Hours Per Day

Rates: Paid in line with Blue Book Agreement

• Basic Pay: £23.45 per hour + holidays
• OT1: £32.83 per hour
• OT2: £42.21 per hour
• Accommodation: £53.39 per day or hotel provided
• Bonus: £2.37 per hour
• Travel & Fare: £#removed# per week – 70 hour working week – inc lodge and bonus

Our client is currently seeking experienced Platers for a long-term industrial new build project based in Hertfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity to join a major project offering consistent hours and long-term work.

Responsibilities

• Fabrication and installation of structural steelwork and plate components
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and fabrication details
• Marking out, fitting, and assembling steel plate and structural sections
• Working with heavy industrial materials and equipment safely
• Carrying out modifications and repairs as required on site
• Working closely with welders, supervisors, and other trades to meet project deadlines

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Plating, Fabrication, or equivalent qualification
• Valid CCNSG Safety Passport / ACE Card
• Previous experience working on industrial new build projects
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings
• Strong understanding of site health & safety procedures

• 11‑day fortnight rotation
