The Role
As an Installation Engineer, you’ll play a key role in delivering complex automation and engineering projects at customer sites across the UK. This role involves regular travel and staying away from home.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and install mechanical and electrical equipment
- Support commissioning and testing activities on‑site
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety and Risk Assessments
- Communicate professionally with clients and internal teams
- Complete job sheets, reports and quality documentation
- Identify and raise quality or system improvements
- Support field operations including servicing, breakdowns and site cover
What We’re Looking For
- Time‑served apprenticeship OR City and Guilds / ONC / HNC in Electrical
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel and stay away from home regularly
- Strong teamwork, attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
Desirable (but not essential)
- Working at Heights certification
- FLT licence (training can be provided)
