Position
We are looking for Forklift Drivers (ideally with Reach licence) to join our team in Stonehouse. Permanent roles are available on day shifts, with 48 hours of work per week (Monday‑Thursday). The role operates a chilled environment and involves responsibility for all cheese despatches, ensuring products meet specified shipping requirements.
Responsibilities
- Preparing and completing orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
- Receiving and processing warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
- Performing inventory controls and maintaining high quality standards for audits
- Keeping a clean and safe working environment to optimise space utilisation
- Managing stock levels and rotation of finished product, intermediate products, waste products, rework, ingredients, packaging, cleaning materials, effluent chemicals, engineering items and other ancillary goods
Requirements
- A counterbalance forklift licence and experience is essential; training will be provided for Reach drivers
- Good standard of English (written and communication)
- Ability to work efficiently as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail
- Understanding of health and safety procedures
