HR Business Partner – 12-month FTC
Salary: up to £65K subject to experience

T2M Resourcing are working with a specialist engineering business looking to expand their team with a HR Business Partner. This role is ideally a 12-month FTC however consideration will also be given to candidates seeking a permanent opportunity.
Reporting into the Managing Director, the business is seeking a proactive and commercially minded HR Business Partner to play a pivotal role in supporting its strategic objectives. The position will provide expert HR guidance and operational support, combining strategic insight with a hands‑on approach to delivery. The successful candidate will partner with managers and employees across the organisation, influencing decision‑making and driving people‑focused solutions that align with business goals. A key focus of the role will be supporting cultural transformation and facilitating the successful integration of a newly acquired organisation.
Key duties as HR Business Partner will include
- To own the HR environment of the company. Working closely with Managing Director and senior leadership team to shape, influence, and deliver a people strategy that supports business object
- To drive culture‑building initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, inclusivity, and high‑performance behavi
- Lead HR elements of organisational change including restructuring, cultural transformation, integration, and capability developm
- Lead the full mid‑term and annual appraisal cy
- Train, guide, and coach line managers on Goals/KPI setting, performance evaluation and 360‑degree feedb
- Analyse performance outcomes to identify organisational capability gaps, skill development needs, and high‑potential tal
- ent.Oversee and support the talent management, and succession plann
- ing.Monitor and analyse HR metrics to inform decision‑making and continuous improvem
- ent.Develop and implement HR policies, procedures aligned to business goals and legal complia
- nce.Provide line managers with advice when they are dealing with complex employee relations issues, including disciplinary, grievance, and absence management ca
- ses.Act as a trusted advisor to managers, providing guidance on all HR matters including employee relations, performance management, and organisational cha

Essential requirements to be successful as HR Business Partner
- CIPD level 5 with experience of at least 5 years in a similar HR enviro
- nment.HR BP experience, ideally within an Industrial/ engineering enviro
- nment.Knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best pra
- ctice.Previous experience of acquisition integrations and detailed knowledge of
- TUPE.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels with internal and external stakeho
- lders.Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business
