What You Will Do

You will play a key role in generating new business opportunities and shaping first impressions with prospective customers. As part of the Business Development team, you’ll operate at the front of the sales organisation, proactively engaging target accounts, qualifying and progressing inbound interest, and building a strong foundation for pipeline growth.

This role is suited to someone who is naturally curious, motivated to learn, and keen to develop their understanding of enterprise sales. You’ll be expected to take a thoughtful, structured approach to outreach, focusing on relevance, timing, and quality of engagement rather than volume alone.

  • Engage prospective customers across outbound and inbound channels, building early stage relationships and identifying where there is a clear fit
  • Develop a solid understanding of Forescout’s approach and how this applies across different environments
  • Take ownership of your own development, actively seeking feedback, refining your approach, and building confidence in customer conversations
  • Apply a consistent, well structured BDR process to manage activity, follow ups, and qualification
  • Work closely with Account Executives to ensure smooth handover of opportunities and alignment on target accounts
  • Contribute to team initiatives, share insight, and support a collaborative, high performing culture

What You Will Bring To Forescout

  • Early experience in a BDR, SDR role
  • A genuine interest in learning how enterprise sales works, and how to engage senior stakeholders effectively
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to hold clear, natural conversations and ask thoughtful questions
  • A proactive mindset with the resilience to stay consistent and improve over time
  • A collaborative approach, with a willingness to learn from others and contribute to team success
  • An organised, process driven way of working, with attention to detail in managing activity and follow-up

Nice to have

  • Experience using sales engagement platforms (e.g. Outreach, Salesloft)
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools
