Role Overview
The CNNI Productions team produces features content across TV, digital and social platforms. Interns will assist the editors with preparing edits as well as independently work on vignettes/TV packages and shows which air on CNN. There may also be opportunities to assist the camera department on shoots and to independently shoot TV interviews, vignettes and shows for both TV and digital platforms.
Responsibilities
- Assisting the Edit and Camera department.
- Premiere Pro Editing – Prepare edits, ingest, log.
- Independently edit short vignettes, TV packages and feature shows.
- Assist crews on TV shoots and operate second camera.
- Possibility to independently shoot TV packages with a producer.
Qualifications & Experience
- Highly creative in both editing and shooting.
- Passion for Film/TV production.
- Previous experience and good knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro (essential).
- Previous experience shooting with video cameras (essential).
- Good knowledge and keen interest in cameras recommended (Sony FX9, Sony FX7, Sony A7s).
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment, confidence to work independently and alongside producers and other camera/editors.
Internship Details
- Salary: £29,000p/a (pro rata)
- Contract Length: 6 months
- Start Date: 1st September 2026

Employment Conditions
Hybrid working: role advertised as a hybrid model, combining remote and in‑office work, subject to company policy and agreement with Line Manager. Company reserves the right to change working agreement where essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice.
