Initially Fixed Term until 31/8/27

Hours: 19.5 (3 Days per week)

Salary: Teachers Pay Scale MPS / UPS (based on experience)

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high quality teaching and learning in Key Stage 1 (KS1).
  • Create an inclusive, stimulating and safe learning environment to support all pupils.
  • Inspire, motivate, engage, encourage and support young children.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan, assess and review pupil progress.
  • Demonstrate strong organisational skills and contribute as part of a team.
  • Show a caring nature and a commitment to school improvement and pupil attainment.
  • Be creative and provide inspiration to pupils and colleagues.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Experience in KS1 teaching.
  • Passion for teaching and a positive, enthusiastic approach.
  • Ability to inspire, motivate, engage and support young children.
  • Competent organisational skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Caring disposition and creativity.
  • ECTs need not apply.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children; willingness to undertake DBS checks as required.
