Position: Transfer Assistant for Corporate Event

Location: London – Client Relations

Starting Date: Immediate

Availability – June 2025

Immediate openings for German‑speaking candidates across three days in June 2025. Multiple positions are available – you may apply for one day or all three. Candidates available for all shifts will be given priority.

14 June – Airport Transfers & Evening Event

Morning transfers (3 positions)

  • Accompany German‑speaking guests from Heathrow Airport to their central London hotel.
  • Three separate transfer slots throughout the afternoon.
  • Rate: £72 + £12 travel allowance per transfer.

Evening transfers (4 positions)

  • Support a German‑speaking corporate group at an evening event and accompany them on transfers.
  • 19:45 – 23:30.

16 June – Live Translation & Evening Event

Bike tour live translator (1 position)

  • Provide live German translation throughout a guided bike tour of London.
  • 08:45 – 12:15.
  • Strong live translation skills are essential.

Evening transfers (5 positions)

  • Accompany a German‑speaking corporate group on evening transfers.
  • 18:45 – 01:30 (dinner provided).

17 June – Departure Transfers

Airport transfers (5 positions)

  • Accompany German‑speaking guests from their central London hotel to Heathrow Airport.
  • Five separate transfer slots in the early morning.
  • Rate: £72 + £12 travel allowance per transfer.

What the work involves

  • Meeting and greeting German‑speaking guests at airports, hotels or event venues.
  • Accompanying groups on coach transfers and ensuring a smooth, professional journey.
  • Supporting guests with luggage, check‑in or any last‑minute queries.
  • Acting as the on‑the‑ground point of contact between guests and the JLE team.
  • Providing live German‑English translation (only for the 16 June bike‑tour role).
  • Representing the client professionally at all times.

Who we are looking for

  • Fluent German – mother tongue or near‑native level (non‑negotiable).
  • Good English to liaise with the JLE team, drivers and venue staff.
  • Professional, well‑presented and confident in a client‑facing environment.
  • Punctual and calm under pressure – transfers are time‑critical.
  • For the translator role (16 June morning): proven live translation ability.
  • Previous experience in events, hospitality, customer service or a client‑facing role.
  • Familiarity with London airports (Heathrow) and central London hotels.
