Warehouse & Transport Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse & Transport Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations and transport activities. This key role ensures efficient stock control, safe working practices, and timely delivery of goods to customers.

Position located: Nottingham. Salary: £32,(Apply online only) per year. Working hours: full‑time, fixed shifts 6am‑4pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day‑to‑day warehouse operations, including goods in/out, picking, packing, and stock control.
• Coordinate vehicle scheduling, route planning, and driver allocation.
• Monitor transport performance, ensuring timely and cost‑effective deliveries.
• Lead, motivate, and develop warehouse and driving teams.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate stock records and inventory systems.
• Liaise with internal departments, suppliers, and customers to resolve issues.
• Conduct regular audits and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support with recruitment, training, and performance management.

Our Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience in a warehouse and/or transport supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of UK logistics and distribution processes.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements within warehousing.
• Excellent organisational and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong leadership and team management ability.
• Confident using warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Flexible and able to adapt in a fast‑paced environment.
• FLT experience.
