Technical Publications Specialist

At Quest Global, UK, we are actively looking for Methods and Technical Publication Engineer (s) to join one of our Aerospace and Defence projects based in Derby.

Skills Required

• Experience in creation / revision of Various Aero Engine Manuals (CIR, EM, IPC, SB, etc.).
• Conduct technical reviews / deliverable reviews and monitor technical health of projects.
• Strong knowledge of Technical Publications Aerospace Standards (ie. ATA100, ispec 2200 and S1000D).
• Working Knowledge on Simplified English standard ASD-STE.
• Experience in Adobe FrameMaker, Arbortext Epic Editor and Common Source Database (CSDB).
• Ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings and change drivers (Service Bulletin, Service Newsletter, ECN, etc.).
• Willingness to work in extremely tight schedules, while still not neglecting the value of attention to details and subsequently delivering high quality work.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with internal /external customers.
• Managing, updating, and creating training material. Support training initiatives as needed.
• Methods, Technical Publications and MRO
• Experience in Aero Engine Technical Publications

Education

• Technical Diploma or Engineering in Mechanical, Industrial, Aerospace or relevant streams
