Communications Specialist (Private Equity)

We are exclusively partnered with a leading private equity firm who are looking to hire a Communications Specialist in London. You will work closely with the Head of Communications and take ownership for the workstream of deal communications as well as contributing to broader media relations.

This is a fast-paced role that will suit an individual with a combination of excellent writing skills and private equity knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Work with deal teams to translate complex transaction detail into clear communications, running coverage of multiple deal communication processes simultaneously.
• Run the communications workstream from end-to-end, including content development, approvals and distribution.
• Produce all transaction materials from press releases, investor communications, holding statements and leadership briefings – ensuring all pieces are accurate and compliant
• Collaborate with portfolio company leadership teams to align messaging.
• Deal with inbound global press queries related to live deals and firm-wide activity.
• Proactively seek opportunities to increase brand visibility and position the firm in the media.
• Manage the distribution of transaction-related updates across channels, ensuring content is consistent.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in private equity deal communications is essential, gained in a private equity firm or a communications agency.
• Strong commercial awareness and financial literacy with experience synthesising technical material into clear, concise content.
• Confidence leveraging AI tools to improve efficiency.
• Ability to switch between strategic thinking and detailed execution in a fast-paced environment with the ability to run several deals concurrently.
• Comfortable working senior stakeholders internally and at portfolio companies.
