Maintenance Fitter

£14.00 per hourMonday to Friday | 5:00pm – 4:00amImmediate Start

Smart Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our client based in Newport. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone with strong mechanical experience within plant, engineering or industrial environments.

The Role

• Carrying out basic maintenance on plant equipment
• Dropping and refitting belly pans
• Fitting side guards
• Tracking and adjusting conveyor belts
• Greasing machinery and carrying out oil checks
• Supporting the smooth running of site operations
• Maintaining high health and safety standards at all times

Requirements

Experience as a Plant Fitter, Maintenance Engineer or similar role-

• Strong mechanical knowledge and practical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good understanding of health and safety within an industrial environment
• Reliable with a strong work ethic

Pay & Benefits

• £14.00 per hour
• Weekly pay
• Consistent Monday to Friday night shifts
• Immediate start available
