Join the Responsible Business team within Strategy, Performance and Sustainability to develop and communicate Nationwide’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) disclosures.

Responsibilities

• Develop annual ESG disclosures and other external reporting.
• Communicate progress against ESG ambitions and Mutual Good Commitments to external audiences.
• Gather information from key internal stakeholders across the business.
• Produce internal reporting on progress toward mutual good commitments.
• Maintain awareness of external ESG developments, regulatory changes, and competitor activity.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and senior leaders to shape key messages.

Requirements

• Highly effective oral and written communication, with proven ability to produce high-quality narrative suitable for external publication.
• Strong understanding of ESG, social responsibility, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
• Strategic thinker, proactive, and self-starter comfortable with ambiguity and complex issues.
• Experience presenting to senior leaders and engaging with internal stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and ability to create clear, engaging materials.
• Team player who shares knowledge and collaborates across the organization.
• Demonstrated ability to drive work forward at pace to meet goals.

Hybrid working arrangement with a minimum of 2 days per week at the Swindon office.
