Salary range: Support staff salary points 8–14 (£26,824 to £29,540 per annum) (pay award pending)

About the Post
Are you an experienced IT professional ready to support a Multi Academy Trust? You will be exposed to the latest IT technology and help shape the IT system moving forward. You’ll work across a broad range of technologies, resolve issues through multiple channels, and explain solutions clearly to both technical and non‑technical users.

As our new 2nd Line IT Support Engineer, you’ll help to support IT systems and development, all while being supported by experienced Trust‑wide colleagues.
You will play a role in ensuring our IT infrastructure remains robust, secure, and future‑focused.
We are looking for an outstanding individual who will relish the opportunity to:
- work closely with the Trust IT Lead to implement a forward‑thinking ICT system
- protect the security of our core network, servers, cloud services, and end‑user systems
- support Windows, Google and Apple environments
- champion new technologies which enhance teaching, learning, and support staff productivity
- promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people in accordance with our Safeguarding and Child Protection policies
The role is based at our Twynham Learning Core Services office (co‑located with The Grange School in Christchurch, Dorset) with regular travel to all our trust schools (across the BCP conurbation) and occasional remote work.

Who we are looking for
We would love to hear from you if you:
- have experience of working in a 1st or 2nd line IT Support role
- have Windows Server, M365 and Active Directory skills
- have experience with network configuration
- have experience in mobile device management (Intune/Jamf/Endpoint Manager), Microsoft Configuration Manager and backup systems
