Countryside charity urgently seeks experienced team to deliver new 200 mile Liverpool circular cycling and walking trail scheme
The countryside charity CPRE Lancs, Liverpool City Region and Greater Manchester works to protect, shape and enhance green spaces for everyone. The charity has just secured £245,000 from The National Lottery Heritage Fund. The money will help them to manage an exciting new project to deliver a 200-mile Liverpool City Region (LCR) Circular Walking and Cycling Trail.
The LCR Walking and Cycling Trail will be a new distinctive, accessible and environmentally sustainable 200-mile walking and cycling trail that joins all six LCR local authorities (Halton, Knowsley, Liverpool, Sefton, St Helens, Wirral). The trail will be a permanent resource for the Liverpool City Region.
By bringing to life pathways and linking urban, coastal and rural landscapes, this lottery funded heritage project will have a positive economic impact on the region and on approaches to sustainable travel.
We are now urgently looking for three talented individuals to help us to deliver on this ambitious project for the people of the Liverpool City Region over the next 12 months.
