Court of Protection Lawyer 2 – Norwich – £45,000 to £55,000 plus extensive benefits
Join a caring and growing team working alongside the Head of Department, specialising in advising vulnerable individuals. This role focuses on ensuring the best outcomes for clients through professionalism, empathy, and efficient service.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert legal advice and representation to vulnerable clients in Court of Protection and Attorneyship matters.
- Handle a varied caseload, including matters relating to mental capacity or safeguarding.
- Work closely with clients, families, carers, and external organisations to deliver holistic support.
- Visit clients at home, care home, hospital or hospice.
- Supervise and develop junior team members, including apprentices and trainee solicitors.
- Manage own caseload and meet deadlines.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues in a busy, growing department.
Qualifications
- Strong background in Court of Protection.
- Experience supervising or mentoring junior staff.
- Excellent client care and telephone skills.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation abilities.
- Full driving licence and access to vehicle, or suitable transport.
