Refrigeration Engineer – Gloucestershire (Within 40 miles) – £45,000 + Benefits

Overview

The Job: An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join a growing engineering business operating across the South West. This role focuses on the installation of commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems for a varied commercial client base. The successful candidate will work on modern systems and technologies while delivering high quality installations and maintaining strong customer service standards.

Responsibilities

  • Installing commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems
  • Ensuring all work complies with industry regulations and company standards
  • Delivering installation projects to a high professional standard
  • Communicating effectively with customers and colleagues on site
  • Supporting the adoption of new technologies and industry developments

The Company

A well established engineering company specialising in refrigeration, air conditioning, mechanical ventilation and heating solutions. The business works with a wide range of commercial clients across the South West and is known for delivering high quality installations and innovative systems.

The Candidate

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial refrigeration and air conditioning installation
  • NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (or equivalent)
  • City & Guilds 2079 – F-Gas & ODS certification (or equivalent)
  • Strong technical knowledge of refrigeration and air conditioning systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • NVQ Level 3 Diploma
  • Hydrocarbon certification
  • IPAF, PASMA or CSCS certification

The Package

  • Salary up to £45,000 depending on experience
  • 40-hour working week (Monday to Friday)
