Project Engineer (Pumping Stations)

Immediate requirement for a Project Engineer to support multiple pumping station refurbishment projects across the Thames Water network.
This is a hands‑on site‑based role suited to an experienced Project Engineer who can work autonomously, coordinate site activities, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.
The Role:
- Oversee pumping station refurbishment and upgrade projects across the Thames Water region
- Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure works progress to programme
- Ensure labour, materials, plant and equipment are available and scheduled correctly
- Monitor project progress, site quality and health & safety compliance
- Liaise with clients, site managers, engineers and project stakeholders
- Resolve site issues and keep projects moving efficiently to programme and budget
The Person:
- Proven Project Engineer experience within water, utilities, pumping stations or industrial infrastructure
- Able to manage multiple contractors and site activities independently
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical installations
- Experience working on Thames Water or other UK water utility projects advantageous
- Full UK Driving Licence and able to travel across the Thames region
- Available for an immediate start
