The Role
We are looking for an experienced and commercially astute Quantity Surveyor to take full ownership of projects from inception through to final account. You will be working on a portfolio of stunning high-value residential projects across prime West London locations, liaising directly with high-net-worth clients and their representatives.
This is a hands-on, autonomous role suited to someone who thrives taking the lead.
Key Responsibilities
- Full project ownership from pre-contract through to final account
- Procurement strategy, tendering, and contractor/supplier appointments
- Preparation and agreement of valuations and interim payment applications
- Management of variations – identification, notification, and agreement
- Preparation and maintenance of Cost Value Reports (CVRs)
- Final account negotiation and settlement
- Client-facing reporting and regular financial updates to HNW clients and their advisors
- Collaborative working with site teams, designers, and other consultants
What We’re Looking For
- Proven track record of running your own QS projects end-to-end – autonomous ownership is essential
- Strong command of procurement, variations, valuations, CVRs, and final accounts
- Experience in high-end residential construction – luxury, heritage, or prime central London projects highly desirable
- Confident and professional client-facing manner; comfortable engaging with HNW individuals and their PAs, EAs, and legal advisors
- Ability and willingness to be based across West London project sites 5 days a week (Chelsea, Mayfair, Fulham, Kensington, Notting Hill and similar)
- Excellent commercial awareness and contractual knowledge (JCT experience preferred)
- Strong attention to detail with clear written and verbal communication skills
