Sales & Business Development Specialist

Company: Towercraft UK
Apply for the Sales & Business Development Specialist
Location: London
Job Description:

We are hiring

Towercraft is expanding across the UK commercial buildings market, and we are hiring a Sales & Business Development Specialist who can help us reach the right buildings, the right decision-makers and the right technical conversations.

This is not a general sales or networking role. We are not looking for candidates whose experience is limited to generic B2B sales, retail sales, consumer sales, standard cold outreach, broad networking or contact-list based introductions.

We are looking for candidates who have worked directly inside, or directly alongside, building operations, property management, facilities management, façade access, health and safety, commercial cleaning or high-rise building maintenance processes.

The right candidate will understand how major London office portfolios and high-rise commercial buildings operate in practice. They will know how asset owners, managing agents, FM contractors, permit-to-work routes, façade cleaning approvals, procurement channels and operational decision-making structures work.

Towercraft does not need general market commentary. We need practical access to real buildings, real stakeholders and real technical discussions. Applications that do not show direct sector exposure will not be progressed.

To apply, send your CV and a short note explaining your relevant sector experience. Your note should include examples of the types of buildings, clients, managing agents, FM contractors, operational teams or decision-makers you have worked with.

About Towercraft

Towercraft develops robotic exterior façade-cleaning solutions for commercial buildings. As we enter and expand across the UK market, we need a commercially strong person who already understands how large office buildings, high-rise commercial assets and building operations teams work in practice.

Role purpose

The purpose of this role is to generate qualified commercial opportunities within the UK commercial buildings market. The role is focused on account mapping, stakeholder access, technical meeting generation and commercial follow-up across facilities management, property management, commercial cleaning, façade access and high-rise building maintenance environments.

This role is designed for a candidate who can move beyond ordinary lead generation. Towercraft needs someone who can identify the correct building, understand the operational approval route, reach the correct decision-maker and open a real technical conversation about façade cleaning operations.

Essential candidate fit

Direct sector exposure is an essential requirement, not a preference. Please do not apply unless you can evidence direct involvement in building operations, property management, facilities management, façade access, health and safety, commercial cleaning, high-rise building maintenance or a closely related commercial building service environment.

This is not a junior, entry-level or generalist sales position. A senior-level track record in the relevant market is required, normally evidenced by several years of direct commercial activity in the sectors named above.

We will not progress applications that show only standard sales activity, generic networking, general B2B outreach or non-sector business development without direct exposure to commercial building operations or FM decision-making.

The strongest candidates will already understand who influences façade cleaning decisions in commercial buildings. This includes asset owners, managing agents, property managers, FM contractors, Operations Directors, Facilities Managers, FM Directors, Procurement Managers, H&S teams and building maintenance stakeholders.

Core responsibilities

Target account mapping. You will identify and prioritise target buildings, high-rise commercial assets, office portfolios, managing agents, FM contractors and relevant operating companies across the UK, with a strong focus on London.

Stakeholder access. You will build direct relationships with the people who influence, approve or manage façade cleaning and building maintenance operations. The role requires practical access to decision-makers, not only general introductions.

Technical meeting generation. You will create qualified meetings where Towercraft can discuss site conditions, façade access limitations, permit-to-work requirements, health and safety considerations, existing cleaning methods and procurement routes.

Commercial pipeline management. You will manage the sales process from account research and first contact through to meetings, proposals, follow-up and commercial conversion. You will use CRM systems and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to keep pipeline activity structured and measurable.

Market intelligence. You will report practical market intelligence to Towercraft leadership. This includes building access routes, approval chains, common objections, competitor presence, procurement behaviour, contractor relationships and operational blockers.

Required experience and skills

Candidates must show a proven track record in UK commercial buildings, facilities management, property management, façade access, commercial cleaning, health and safety, building maintenance or a closely related B2B service environment. Experience must be specific enough to show that the candidate understands how commercial buildings are operated and how operational service decisions are made.

A strong commercial background is required. Candidates must be able to manage account research, lead generation, stakeholder engagement, commercial meetings, proposals and follow-up. Experience with key account management, CRM systems and LinkedIn Sales Navigator is required.

Professional working proficiency in English is required because the role involves client meetings, technical discussions, commercial proposals and written communication with UK-based stakeholders.

Not suitable for this role

This role is not suitable for candidates whose experience is limited to ordinary sales outreach, retail sales, consumer sales, general marketing, call-centre sales, contact-list introductions or broad networking without direct sector exposure.

A large personal network alone is not enough. Towercraft needs evidence that the candidate understands the commercial building operations chain and can reach the correct technical and commercial stakeholders inside that chain.

What Towercraft offers

Towercraft offers a competitive base salary and a performance-based bonus structure. The successful candidate will work directly on UK market entry and growth in a practical, high-value commercial building segment.

Application process

To apply, send your CV and a short note explaining your relevant sector experience to (people@thubtechnologies.iol) or apply directly through LinkedIn. The note must identify the specific sectors, building types, client types, managing agents, FM contractors or operational decision-makers you have worked with.

The successful candidate must have the right to work in the UK before employment starts. Towercraft will carry out right-to-work checks at the appropriate stage.

Towercraft will assess applicants against role-related evidence, sector exposure, skills and commercial fit. Applications without direct evidence of relevant sector experience will not be progressed
