Cleaning Operative

Responsibilities:

• Carrying out a range of cleaning duties across designated areas of the Warehouse and offices
• Ensuring all areas are cleaned to a high standard in accordance with health and safety and hygiene regulations
• Safely using cleaning equipment and materials as provided
• Acting as a key holder, including unlocking and securing the premises as required
• Working independently (lone working) while maintaining efficiency and attention to detail
• Reporting any maintenance issues, hazards
• Ability to work unsupervised and manage time effectively
• Strong sense of responsibility and trustworthiness, particularly in a key holder capacity
• Good understanding of cleaning practices and health & safety procedures

Desirable Criteria:

• Previous experience in a cleaning role, ideally within a school or similar environment
• Familiarity with COSHH regulations and safe handling of cleaning chemicals
