As part of a growing Ventures team, the business is now looking to hire an Investment Director / Senior Investment Manager to support both portfolio management and new investment activity.

This is a broad, high‑impact opportunity sitting at the intersection of portfolio value creation, transaction execution and strategic investing. The successful candidate will work closely with portfolio leadership teams, internal stakeholders and senior investment professionals while helping shape the next generation of high‑growth technology businesses.

Responsibilities

  • Attend portfolio company boards as an Investor Director or Board Observer
  • Build strong relationships with management teams and act as a strategic partner to portfolio businesses
  • Ensure shareholder objectives are effectively delivered and *escalate* key risks where appropriate
  • Maintain deal data, cap tables and investment models accurately
  • Deliver financial analysis and support value enhancement initiatives
  • Review portfolio performance and identify key commercial insights and trends
  • Support fundraising processes through data gathering and validation
  • Prepare investment valuations and contribute to fund modelling activity
  • Support investor reporting and presentation materials
  • Manage ad hoc analytical requests from internal and external stakeholders
  • Source attractive investment opportunities and strengthen market presence
  • Lead internal investment approval processes and stakeholder management
  • Coordinate due diligence and transaction workstreams through to execution

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience within venture capital, private equity, growth investing or a related environment
  • Exposure to innovative and high‑growth technology businesses
  • Strong financial analysis and commercial assessment capabilities
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
  • Understanding of investment processes, funding rounds and transaction structures
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Comfortable operating at board level and constructively challenging management teams
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast‑paced environment
  • Strong academic background
